• Invited 170 times to deliver a special guest lecture or keynote speech in 20 countries
• Supervised 30 PhD & 40 Master students to complete their degrees
• The (only) Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Tourism Research (listed in SSCI Q1, Scopus Q1, Impact factor 5.9) published by John Wiley & Sons, the United Kingdom
