FITM Students start 2018 Disney World Internship Program


On 2nd June, 19 students of Faculty of International Tourism and Management arrived at Florida State University for engaging in FSU-Disney Internship Program,

led by Dr. Chen Chen, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Wesley Ho, Administrative staff of FITM.

 

Dr. Robert S. Hughes, Program Director of CGE Special Programs of Florida State University, and the other staffs from FSU designed special learning plans for the

students. During their 10-day stay at Florida State University, students engaged in an intensive academic study and course-related field trips in the local famous

restaurant and resort. It aims to help students know more about the hospitality industry in USA and get well-prepared for their internship in Walt Disney World.

 

Faculty of International Tourism and Management encourages students to participate the oversea internship program, and Disney World Internship Program is

one of the most popular programs in FITM. It does not only provide chances for the students to do internship in various positions at Walt Disney World Resort,

but also equips them with a great opportunity to develop the cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills.
