On 25^th May, 2017, the Signing Ceremony of IHG Campus Partner School between the Faculty of International Tourism and Management of City University of

Macau and InterContinental Hotels Group was held at HG01, Ho Yin Convention Centre.

Dr. Gavin Chau, the Executive Associate Dean of FITM delivered a welcome speech. He emphasized the importance of internship for students who studies in the

Tourism and Hospitality programs, and appreciated the cooperation opportunity with InterContinental Hotels Group. Mr. Ricky Hu, Senior Manager of IHG

Academy of InterContinental Hotels Group introduced the background and internship opportunities of IHG.

Mr. Fred Wu, Director of Human Resources from Crowne Plaza Macau, and Dr. Gavin Chau, our Executive Associate Dean of FITM represented each party in

signing the MoU. Mr. Ricky Hu and Ms. Diana Zhang, Training Manager of Crowne Plaza Macau, and faulty members of FITM witnessed the ceremony. Dr Gavin

Chau accepted the partnership certification from IHG and presented a souvenir to the representative of IHG. After the ceremony, students showed great

enthusiasm and interest in the internship program, as well as working in the hotel industry. They were eager to ask questions during the Q&A session.

Our Program Coordinators, Dr. James Shen, Dr. Grace Chan and Dr. Kenny Luo, as well as Ms. Emico Zhang, Domestic & International Affairs Officer of FITM and

other FITM faculty members attended this signing ceremony.
