Recently, the Academic Research Seminar organized by the Faculty of International Tourism and Management was successfully launched on

November 15, 2021. The seminar entitled "How to Develop a Research Topics" was lectured by visiting professor Wong Yip Kin. Graduate

students of our faculty participated the seminar.

The locale of the Academic Research Seminar

Based on his own research experience, Professor Huang shared the skills and thinking methods for selecting research topics with the students. In the speech, Professor Wong was humorous, with a novel and unique entry point, and explained many academic pain points and difficulties with simple and clear examples, which aroused the resonance of the students. During the period, many students raised some questions in the research topic, and Professor Wong also patiently answered them. The final question and answer session was very enthusiastic, and many

students remained to have private discussions with Professor Huang until the end of the seminar.

In order to better promote academic exchanges between teachers and students, our faculty has specially set up many seminar on different topics, and plans to launch them in the near future. The success of this seminar provides a good example for the subsequent academic

exchange activities of our school's teachers and students. We hope that in the future, more students will participate in the academic seminar

and benefit from it.
