In 2016, some 16 students from FITM-CityU passed a rigorous vetting process for enrollment in an internship program at the Florida State University (FSU). The

program is a joint cooperation with Walt Disney World(WDW) in Orlando, Florida. Students involved in the internship program were accompanied by the program coordinator and trainer for a trip to Florida.

The students and faculty members were picked up by FSU coordinators at Tallahassee airport and were transported to the campus. Upon their arrival at the FSU

campus in Tallahassee, FITM-CityU students engaged in a study program with other students from otter countries. An intensive study program included,

“Organization Service Management,”“Intercultural Communication” and “Corporate Social Responsibility.”The study program provided a solid foundation and good preparation for their internship at Walt Disney World. The warm hospitality service demonstrated how FSU is highly attentive to the collaboration

program. Students were impressed by the surroundings, especially the bright and spacious dormitory. The beautiful surroundings created a favorable impression to all students. FSU coordinators were very experienced and efficient. Preparations included class arrangements. Daily agenda were well-designed and

implemented up to every detail. Students participants had the opportunity to interact with each other and broaden their horizons, providing deeper insight. It was a great opportunity for them to obtain hands-on experience. The program’s approach provided a positive learning environment for the students, leading to a better understanding of different cultures during their stay in the U.S.

In 2007, the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) FSU, began the collaboration internship program with Walt Disney World (WDW) in Orlando, Florida. The strong connection network of world-renowned universities enhanced the uniqueness of the experience for students who come from all over the world. In 2012, a signed collaboration agreement between FITM-CityU and FSU, launched the internship program that benefitted students with global perspectives. This extraordinary

experience enables students to succeed anywhere in the world.

The WDW internship program has achieved remarkable results since its introduction with more students participating every year. Successful engagement in this

internship program brings very positive feedbacks to FITM-CityU. The program is recognized by tourism enterprises worldwide. In fact, this program has become one of the highlights in the offerings of FITM-CityU.
