2018 High Table Dinner was held successfully by FITM


The 2018 High Table Dinner was held successfully by the Faculty of International Tourism and Management of the City University of Macau at Pearl Palace

Ballroom in Crowne Plaza Macau on January 19, 2018. This event is part of the comprehensive teaching series of large-scale teaching practice sponsored by

Macao Foundation.

 

High table dinner is not only an academic activity, but also a platform for establishing harmony relationship among teachers and students and an opportunity

to respect traditional culture. Nowadays, this activity has become an important part of the cultural activities in many universities in Hong Kong and western

countries. It is also a traditional activity of Faculty of International Tourism and Management.

 

The leaders of the City University of Macau, faculty members, and representatives of industry partners were invited to this event. During the dinner, Professor

Kong Fanqing, Vice Rector of the City University of Macau delivered a welcome speech. She explained the meaning and purpose of holding the High Table Dinner. Then, Dr. Gavin Chau, our Executive Associate Dean expressed his gratitude for the support of our honor guests, faculty members, as well as students. Mr. Albert Wei Wenbin, General Manager of Shenzhen Air International Hotel are invited to be the keynote speaker of the High Table Dinner. He shared his management

experiences in the hotel industry and wish our students good future. A set of joyful activities were well designed, such as the band performances, the dance

performance, and lucky draw. From the performance, we could see that our students are multi-talented.

 

Mr. Wicky K.H. So, Director of Administrative Division, Mr. Jason Kuok, Director of Finance, FITM faculty members, and students, as well as representatives of

industry partners, attended the event.
