On January 29,2018, The FITM-IHG Campus Kick-off ceremony was held at the conference room at Crowne Plaza Macau successfully.“IHG Campus” is designed for the needs of cultivating hotel elite for International and domestic tourism industry. It is first launched by Crowne Plaza Macau and Faculty of International

Tourism and Management of City University of Macau. There are 28 qualified students selected for the“IHG Campus”Program.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr. Dominique Berhouet, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Macau, delivered a welcome speech and expressed his

appreciation for our students and guests. After that, our Pro-Rector of City University of Macau, Prof. Ip Kuai Peng assured the importance of Industry -Academia program which develop students with both professional knowledge and skills through study and practice. It is an enriched learning opportunities for FITM students. Prof. Ip believed that the 28 students will become professionals after joining this program. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Gavin Chau expressed his gratitude

to this study and practice platform provided by Crowne Plaza Macau and emphasized the importance of the actual practice in hospitality and service industry.

Dr. Cindy Wang, Dr. Kenny Luo, our Program Coordinators, as well as Ms. Emico Zhang, Domestic & International Affairs Officer of FITM, Mr. Fred Wu, Director of Human Resources of Crowne Plaza Macau, as well as Ms. Diana Zhang, Training Manager of Crowne Plaza Macau attended this ceremony. After the ceremony,

FITM students were offered a fruitful tour in the hotel. They visited areas such as guest room, restaurants, and entertainment facilities of Crowne Plaza Macau.
