On January 21st, in order to enrich the Internship Program of the Faculty of International Tourism and Management, provide more internship opportunities and post-graduation employment opportunities for students, enhance students’professionalism and international vision.

Executive Associate Dean of FITM, Dr. Gavin Chau with Mr. Wesley Ho went to Dubai, conducted cooperative meetings and visits, signed

cooperation agreements with several organizations, and established the close partnerships between university and organizations.

This visit involved several organizations in hotel industry and convention and exhibition industry, including the Dubai World Trade Centre,

Sofitel The Palm Dubai Resort & Spa, InterContinental Dubai Marina, Dubai Hilton Group and Dubai Marriott International Group. They

showed their high expectation to our students to participate the Internship Program. They expected that FITM students can take advantage

of the students' Chinese and English language proficiency combining with the theories learned in the former lessons, and develop their

competitive strengths in the tourism industry in Dubai and join in the coming world event in 2020 – Expo 2020 Dubai.

FITM attaches great importance to the international exchange and internship programs. It aims to expand international cooperation and seek different partners around the world to provide students with high-quality international internship opportunities in order to enrich students'

university life and further enhance the international influence of the faculty.
