FITM graduate students participated in the Global Tourism Economy Forum


The " Global Tourism Economy Forum • Macau 2020" took place recently at MGM Macau. 'Solidarity and Innovation: Reshaping Tourism in

the New Global Economy' is the theme of this year's forum. Around 50 tourism leaders from the public and private sectors as well as experts

and scholars from worldwide were invited to share their keynote addresses on how to promote the economic recovery of tourism and the

continued development of tourism. In the regular anti-epidemic situation, this forum convened in a hybrid online and offline format.

Representatives of graduate students from Faculty of International Tourism and Management were invited to attend the forum. The students all expressed that they were very pleased to have the chance to participate in such high-end professional forums and to benefit a great deal

from the inspiration of the ideas of tourism industry leaders from worldwide. The faculty continuously attaches importance to cultivating the

international vision and strategic thinking of students, and hopes to broaden the horizons of students and enhance overall quality by

participating in different high-end academic activities.
