FITM Students participated in the First Macao Vocational English Contest and Achieved the Third Prize


Four students from the International School of Tourism and Management: Liu Jiehang, Cai Zhi, Li Jiaqi, Deng Zhanhe, etc., formed a team

(the Waves team) to participate in the Macau Professional English Contest and won the Third Prize. The contest is organized by Macao

Productivity and Technology Transfer Center and supported by the Macao Higher Education Bureau and the Education and Youth Affairs

Bureau.

 

The theme of this competition is professional English for the catering sector, which aims to encourage travel and tourism-related service

professionals in Macau to improve their English skills in order to support the sustainable development of Macau as a world center for tourism and leisure. FITM has been nurturing talents for the growth of the tourism industry in Macau and the Greater Bay Area. By participating in this competition, students have been strengthened in terms of professional knowledge and language skills. At the same time, they have also

shown the demeanor of our students to the industry and society.
