Recently, a group of six teachers and students from the Faculty of International Tourism and Management of the City University of Macau

were invited to visit China's leading base of Artificial Intelligence technology the 4DAGE (China-Germany Artificial Intelligence Institute), for

the purpose of exploring potential cooperation.

To continue to integrate artificial intelligence, technological innovation, and the tourism industry in academic research and teaching, the FITM has established a tourism data calculation laboratory and a tourism virtual reality laboratory. Under the leadership of Associate Professor Li Xi, Executive Associate Dean of the Faculty, the main aim of the visit of Professor Ivan Lai, Dr. Gao Bo, and Dr. Chen Chen is to foster cooperation between industry, academia, and research in the field of artificial intelligence tourism.

4DAGE is a high-tech company dedicated to the theoretical research and application of 3D digital artificial intelligence technology. It has

world-leading scientific research in the fields of digital 3D artificial intelligence, digital virtual display, artificial intelligence algorithm, and

computer vision technology. Mr. Ye Boyi, Deputy Managing Director of the Company, warmly welcomed the visiting professors and students. Both parties have highly recognized the prospects of the industry, academia, and research cooperation, and have engaged in in-depth

discussions on future cooperation in teaching, scientific research, and project implementation, and have reached preliminary intentions for

cooperation.
