In order to present a unique gift to the 40th Anniversary of City University of Macau, add a joyful atmosphere, and at the same time allow
students to have a more comprehensive understanding and appreciation of the beautiful scenery and humanistic feelings of Macau, Faculty
of International Tourism and Management (FITM) launched the "Most Beautiful Macau" Macau Tourist Destination Poster Design
Competition from March 2021. With the support of three invited professional judges, the faculty finally selected a number of outstanding
works and held an award ceremony on May 24th. Professor Kong Fanqing, Vice Rector of City University of Macau, presented the awards to
the winners. Also present at the award ceremony were Associate Professor Li Xi, Executive Associate Dean of FITM, Assistant Professor Cindy
Wang, Programme Coordinator, Assistant Professor James Shen, and Assistant Professor Grace Chan.
FITM invites three professional judges to select works
The design competition was launched in March this year. Students of FITM are encouraged to design posters and discover the beauty of
Macau based on Macau's characteristic tourist attractions, natural scenery or cultural activities. The Faculty has received many creative posters submitted by students who are enthusiastic about practical activities and the content of the works is diversified and full of creativity. To fully
display the creative works of students, the organizer of the competition also set up a virtual exhibition hall on the Internet with the technical
support of the FITM VR Travel Lab to provide interested audiences with opportunities to appreciate the works all-weather and barrier-free.

In her speech, Vice Rector Kong Fanqing said that this competition provides students with a valuable opportunity to practice, allowing them
to use their knowledge, creativity and practical skills to design poster suitable for enhancing the tourist attraction of Macau and improve
students' skills. At the same time, it is a beautiful gift for the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the City University of Macau.

Executive Associate Dean Li Xi also said that Macau still has great potential in tourism in the post-epidemic era. This competition has greatly
inspired students' interest in tourism and can gain a deeper understanding of the charm of Macau as a tourist destination.
