The 2021 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Integrated Resort Sustainable Business Case Study Competition – “Start Young” Hospitality Management Professional Challenge was successfully completed after the online preliminary competition from November 20 to November 29, 2021, and the final judging on December 12, 2021. A total of 75 teams from 25 universities from Guangdong Province, Macao
Special Administrative Region and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region participated in the competition.
The competition aims to enhance and encourage students' understanding and awareness of business knowledge. The work of Ruan Qirui,
Wang Tongyu, Huang Taosong, Wang Chongyu and Gou Kaixi --“Research, analysis and suggestions on integrated resort green
management measures based on customers' sustainable development cognition: A case study of City of Dreams Macau" finally won the third prize under the guidance of Assistant Professor Wang Xin.
The participating students said that the words sustainable development and carbon neutrality have attracted a lot of attention in recent years, and in this competition, through participating in fieldwork and literature reading, they completed this work, which gave them a deeper understanding of sustainable development. Although there is still a lot of room for improvement in the works, they said that they have benefited a
lot from this competition. At the same time, they are very grateful to the teachers for taking the time to guide them in their busy schedules,
and also thank the organizers of the competition for providing them with a platform to show themselves. They said they would continue to
work hard in the future to achieve better results.
