Yu Yue, first year master student of Faculty of International Tourism and Management (FITM), supervised by Assistant professor IokTeng Esther Kou and Associate Professor Kenny J. M. Luo, attended the International Conference on Tourism Management and Hospitality (ICTMH) on

10-12 December in Barcelona, Spain. Yu Yue’s paper “Determinants of the development of intangible cultural heritage: the case of

Cantonese opera'' has received honorary invitation and recognition. During the conference, Yu shared her work with participants from

Singapore, Japan, Spain, Poland, Malaysia, etc. Yu said, “I would like to thank FITM for the international communication channels and broad

platform offered for students. I also want to thank teachers of FITM. Participating in academic conference is rewarding. It means a lot to me in my academic journey.”
