On November 9th, the Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between Faculty of International Tourism Management (FITM) of City University of Macau (CityU) and Crowne Plaza Macau was successfully held at HG02, Convention Centre, City University of Macau. Dr. Sean Li, Academic Registrar of CityU,

delivered a welcome speech to delegates from Crowne Plaza Macau. He emphasized the importance of internship and practice in students’ cultivation. Dr. Gavin Chau, Executive Associate Dean of FITM, showed thanks for the internship opportunities provided by Crown Plaza Macau and introduced the FITM faculty group.

Mr. Fred Wu, Director of Human Resources from Crowne Plaza Macau, and Dr. Gavin Chau, Executive Associate Dean of FITM, represented each party to sign the MoU. Dr. Sean Li, Academic Registrar of CityU, and Ms. Diana Zhang, Training Manager of Crowne Plaza Macau, witnessed the MoU Signing Ceremony. After that, a Career Talk was held for FITM students. Mr. Fred Wu introduced the history and development of InterContinental Hotels Group and Crowne Plaza Macau. He

also introduced the internship program and staff career development in Crowne Plaza Macau. MS. Diana Zhang introduced their training programs and positions open for interns. The Career Talk was warmly welcome by all students and they showed a keen interest. Students submitted their CVs and applications forms, and attended the on-site interview.
