On 13^th March, the 2017 Global Hospitality and Tourism Forum – “Innovation in Hospitality Management under the New Era”was held successfully by the

Faculty of International Tourism Management (FITM) of City University of Macau (City U) at HG02.

Dr. Edward Yu Hsien Lin from Department of Business Management, National Taipei University of Technology, Ms. Yue Huimin, General Manager of Shenzhen

Hyatt Place and Mr. Albert Wei Wenbin, General Manager of Shenzhen Air International Hotel Shenzhen are invited to be the keynote speakers of the forum. At

the start of the Forum, Professor Kong Fanqing, Vice Rector of City University of Macao (City U) presented certificates to our honorable speakers. Then, Dr. Gavin

Chau, Executive Associate Dean of FITM (City U) made a welcome speech and introduced the aims and objectives of this forum---enable students to gain

knowledge and insights not only from theories lectured in classes, but also from the actual experiences of the hotel industry through professionals.

At the forum, our guest speakers delivered speeches on the topic “Innovation in Hospitality Management under the New Era”. The content delivered were

in-deep, comprehensive, with sound analysis and from top supervision level. Hotel brand management and hospitality innovations were discussed during the

session. Students showed great enthusiasm and interest in this topic, and were eager to ask questions during the Q&A session.
