In response to Macao's low-carbon and energy-saving campaign on energy conservation and efficiency education, students of our master program were invited

by Macau Grandee Great Investment Co., Ltd. to conduct hotel energy audit. From 20^th to 22^nd February, our master students, under the lead of energy

conservation and efficiency experts from Mainland China, participated in the energy audit at hotels and school campus in Macau.

On 20^th, invited experts conducted a series of systematic training for the students, covering areas such as basic concepts, definitions and scope of energy audits. On the next day, assisted by the staff of engineering department of Golden Dragon Hotel, the energy audit committee formed by experts and our students visited various sites in the hotel, which includes Chinese and Western restaurants, hotel guest rooms, hydro and electric systems and other facilities of the hotel. Data was collected for further efficiency analysis.

On 22^nd, the team continued to conduct energy audit in university campus. According to the students who participated in this program, this kind of activities

enable them to gain knowledge from a professional view point. They acquired better understanding of the hotel energy system, its operation process and energy conservation and efficiency projects. Through training and various site visit, environmental protection concept are strengthen and has better prepared them for

their future career in the hospitality industry.
