On June 29^th, 8 students of Faculty of International Tourism and Management arrived at Florida State University for FSU-Disney Internship Program, led by Dr.

James H.W. Shen, Program Coordinator, and Ms. Emico Zhang, Domestic & International Affairs Officer of FITM. FITM Students engaged in a 10 days study with

the students from other countries for the preparation of the 6-months Walt Disney World Internship in FSU firstly.

Dr. Robert S. Hughes, Program Director of CGE Special Programs of Florida State University, and the other staffs from FSU designed carefully learning plans for the students. Our students not only had a taste of the charms of FSU’s 166-year history, but they also had field study on local restaurants and resort hotels in

Tallahassee. Our students have brought into focus of their excellent performance in study, as well as in the National Student Talent Show. They enjoyed friendship with different nationalities students during the study. Later on, all the students head for Orlando to take training and prepare for the internship in Walt Disney

World.

Faculty of International Tourism and Management has been cooperated with Florida State University and Walt Disney World for many years. This program has

become the most popular international internship program in FITM. It does not only provide chances for the students to do internship at the famous brand

catering industry, Retail, and Park business, but also it allows the students to study and live with the students from all over the world, to experience different

culture. FITM will continue to work on collaboration with the well-known enterprises, and provide an international platform for students’internship and

exchanges.
