In October 2019, Prof. Kong Fanqing, Acting Rector of City University of Macau (CityU), accompanied by Dr. Gavin Chau, Executive Associate

Dean of the Faculty of International Tourism and Management (FITM), and Ms. Liona Ieong, member of the International Exchange and

Internship Team, attended the “Signing Ceremony of the Internship Co-operation Agreement between the FITM and Jardine Aviation

Services Limited”.

Jardine Aviation Services has been serving Hong Kong International Airport for over 60 years. As a world-class ground handling agent, the

company provides passenger services, operations control, cargo services and ramp services. It works with over 50 airline customers, including Hong Kong Airlines, China Eastern, British Airways, Finnair, Lufthansa, etc. The company has always been a market leader in ground services

and is highly regarded and trusted by airline customers for its professional day-to-day ground handling and terminal operations.

The signing ceremony was held at CNAC House at Hong Kong International Airport. The delegation was received by Ms. Moniz Lee, Jardine

Aviation Services Limited's Head of Human Resources, and Mr. Eddy Wong, Jardine Aviation Services Limited's Manager of Human Resources. Ms. Lee introduced the company, and the two sides exchanged views on the future direction of co-operation, aiming to provide safe and

professional internship opportunities for students. The signing ceremony was held later, followed by the presentation of a souvenir to Ms. Lee by Prof. Kong Fanqing.

After the signing ceremony, Ms. Lee and Mr. Wong led a tour of Terminal 1 at Hong Kong International Airport, during which they explained

the facilities of the airport and visited the passenger service counters and back office areas of Jardine Aviation Services, giving the delegation a better understanding of the daily operations and working environment of the company. As a five-star airport, Hong Kong International

Airport has been rated as the“World's Best Airport” eight times, so students will be able to enhance their professional skills and enrich their life experience in this excellent working environment.
