On September 20, 2023, Mr. Xu Ting, chairman of Woniu Tourist Attraction Management Group, was invited to the Faculty of International
Tourism and Management (FITM) of the City University of Macau (CityU) to present a special report titled "Development and Trends of Resort Management in the Age of Digitization." The presentation attracted many teachers and students specializing in tourism management to
participate, and the scene set off a wave of academic fervor.

Mr. Xu is a member of the Expert Committee of China Association of Tourist Attractions and has been engaged in the planning and
development of tourist attractions and the operation and management of tourist attractions for many years. He has presided over the
investment, planning, construction, operation, and branding of more than 600 scenic areas and resorts and has successfully helped 27
scenic areas obtain the 5A-class tourist attraction rating, operated more than 12 national-level tourist resorts, and led the operation of 28
tourist attractions, resorts, cultural tourism projects.
Mr. Xu began by sharing his unique insights into the tourism industry. He then proceeded to explain the development trends in the field of
tourist attraction management to the students and teachers. These included changes in management concepts, shifts in market demand
characteristics, and a move towards a more technology-focused approach. Mr. Xu also drew on his own experience to explain the
prerequisites, internal system, and functional realization of the digital operation of the scenic area. He also shared the important value and
significance of the design of the public infrastructure of the tourist attractions to the management of the scenic area.

The seminar demonstrated Mr. Xu's unique insights into the development, planning, and operation management of tourist attractions over
the years, as well as providing teachers and students with cutting-edge topics in the field of attraction management, which is an important
revelation for students learning about the management of tourist attractions and conducting research in related fields. The students also
discussed and exchanged ideas with Mr. Xu on various phenomena in tourism management, and the atmosphere was very enthusiastic.
Finally, Professor Li Xi, executive associate dean of the faculty, presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Xu. The faculty will continue to
promote exchanges and cooperation with the industry, create a platform for teachers and students to gain insight into the industry's
aspirations and development trends, and contribute to the cultivation of talents in tourism-related industries.
