Faculty of International Tourism and Management visited DFS Macau to Promote Cooperation


On August 22, 2023, Faculty of International Tourism and Management (FITM) visited the DFS Macau Headquarters, the visit aims to promote cooperation with the industry, share experiences, and explore more potential cooperation opportunities.

 

Professor Li Xi, Executive Associate Dean of FITM, accompanied by Associate Professor Cindy Wang, Program Coordinator, visited the Macau Headquarters of DFS, and was warmly received by Ms. Caroline Chan, Senior Director of DFS Human Resources Hong Kong & Macau, and Ms. Betty Wan, Senior Manager. This visit will not only help the faculty to gain better understanding of DFS's business model, innovative practices, and advantages in the market as a top luxury retailer. At the same time, through exchanges and discussions between both parties, possible

areas of cooperation were discussed.

 

Li Xi, Executive Associate Dean, introduced the development of the faculty in recent years to Senior Director Ms. Caroline Chan and Senior

Manager Ms., Betty Wan, and sincerely thanked DFS for its support to FITM over the years, providing students with rich internship

opportunities and career development. Subsequently, the two sides focused on how to jointly cultivate Macao professionals and carried out

friendly exchanges.

 

Through this meeting and exchange, both parties are full of expectations and confidence for future cooperation. DFS will continue to provide more internship opportunities for FITM students, and plans to organize a series of lectures to enrich students' knowledge of retail industry,

fashion lifestyle, luxury brands and high-end retail.

 

This visit and exchange not only strengthened the connection between the Faculty and DFS, but also laid the foundation for the two parties to jointly create new cooperation. Faculty of International Tourism and Management will continue to expand cooperation with the industry, and

is committed to cultivating more competitive talents for Macau and the Greater Bay Area.
