A group of FITM City University of Macau students who attended the Middlesex University Cultural and Language Immersion Scheme and London English Programme this summer have recently returned to Macau. The FITM students highly praised the excellent learning opportunity as an unforgettable experience.

Ms. Lai J.X, one of the FITM students attending the Summer Course, shared excitedly her journey in the U.K with teachers and friends in the faculty. During her stay, Middlesex University arranged progressive courses to help her gradually adapt to the new environment and build her confidence and oral English proficiency. The students took part in community services in kindergartens and homes for the elderly. There were also interesting activities such as horse riding, games, afternoon tea, and sightseeing in London Tower, Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Cambridge, and British Museum. Liu Yue, another FITM student, also spoke highly of the services provided by student leaders and summer school office of Middlesex University, which included airport pick-up, accommodation settlement, guidance on daily routine and study counselling. All the students attending the Summer Course appreciated the opportunity to have a different and meaningful summer learning vacation.
