The faculty of international tourism and management held the quality assurance team meeting in 2019/2020 academic year in the afternoon of August 27, 2020. The meeting was led by Dr. Li Xi, executive associate dean of FITM. Dr. Shen Huawen, doctor program coordinator;

Dr. Gao Bo, master program coordinator; Dr. Wang Xin, undergraduate program coordinator; Professor Ivan Lai, the teacher representative; as well as some distinguished consultants from local and mainland industry and academic, gathered together to hold the meeting in the way of online and offline synchronization. The distinguished consultants participating the meeting include: Dr. Wang Dong, general manager of

Grand Hengqin International Hotel Management Co., Ltd.; Mr. Hong Yude, executive director of Macao Conference and Exhibition Industry Association; and Dr. Qian Jianwei, associate professor of Hangzhou Normal University.

Dr. Li Xi, executive associate dean, firstly reviewed the development of the faculty. Secondly, the coordinators introduced the development of undergraduate, master, and doctor programs respectively. Thirdly, the student representatives talked about their own learning experiences

and expectations to the faculty. Lastly, the external consultant experts evaluated the faulty programs from the perspective of industry demand for talents. All the participants highly recognized the positioning and achievements of the faculty, and put forward valuable suggestions from the aspects of unity of knowledge and practice, practical training arrangement, laboratory construction, and the enhancement of students'

professional competitiveness.
