The 2nd China (Shenzhen) International Tourism Expo was recently held in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. FITM City U, as the only specialized tourism institute from Macau among all the exhibitors, drew special public attention.

Over five hundred exhibitors from all over the world gathered at the 2nd SITE, including government sectors, industrial associations, and famous enterprises in the tourism industrial chain. Tens of thousands of professional visitors were attracted to the expo for viewing and communication. The  2nd SITE provided not only an opportunity for the promotion of domestic and overseas superior tourism resources, but also a platform for the communication and negotiation among tourism

professionals. The expo also allowed citizens of Shenzhen and surrounding areas to learn featured sightseeing resources home and abroad more directly. Many

higher education institutions with tourism related majors fro Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau joined the expo, while FITM City U and SHTM HKPU, as a

specialized tourism institute , drew most attention.

By showcasing its advantages and features, FITM City U drew great concern from the visitors. Many tourism professionals and visitors expressed their interest for

the programs of the faculty. Representatives from tourism higher education institutions from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau also took the chance to

communicate and exchange their ideas on future cooperation.
