The 6th China (Shenzhen) International Tourism Expo, hosted by the Shenzhen Travel Association and organised by the Shenzhen Yipeng

Convention and Exhibition Service Co., Ltd, was held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Centre from 22 to 24 November. Under the theme of “Quality Travel, Grand Carnival”, the Expo, with its supporting forums and conventions, attempted to exert its influence across China and the entire world while keeping a foothold in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. Dr. Gavin Chau, Executive Associate Dean of the Faculty of International Tourism and Management (FITM), together with two FITM administrative representatives, attended this Expo.

During the Expo, a series of innovative and pertinent dialogues, forums and seminars were conducted among representatives of the FITM and the tourism industry. Meanwhile, FITM representatives showed our professional and efficient international programmes to the visiting guests, in a bid to promote the collaborative and innovative development of tourism talents, and to provide intellectual support for the Expo. Our

efforts have been recognised by the tourism industry.
