In line with the slogan of this year's China Tourism Day: "Love Tourism, Love Life" and in response to the Macao government's call for the
development of community tourism, FITM organized a thematic activity for China Tourism Day, leading some students to visit the memorial
halls of important historical figures such as Zexu Lin and Xinghai Xian, as well as historical buildings and scenic spots with unique historical
flavor, such as St. Francis of Assisi Church in Coloan.

FITM organized this study by inviting seasoned industry experts to accompany students and teachers on research trips to representative
tourism attractions. The investigation of the functional changes of historical scenic spots and their humanistic values in a diversified social
environment provided valuable information for the students and teachers to study community tourism. As a result, they gained a great deal of insight. The students and teachers not only learned about the cultural background, aesthetics, and construction characteristics of historical
buildings and scenic spots, and observed the urban fabric up close, but they also felt the city's historical changes and the new travel
experience brought about by urban construction, as well as the vigor and vitality of the thriving tourism industry. In the course of the study
tour, FITM students and teachers also experienced many innovative tourism products and formats, which broadened students' horizons and
stimulated their interest in learning and research.
Mr. Zhiwen Dong, a senior industry expert and President of the International Tourism and Regional Development Society,

In the future, FITM will continue to organize students to participate in multi-level and comprehensive tourism education and cross-cultural
exchange activities, hoping to encourage FITM teachers and students to go out and touch, perceive and absorb culture through more series
of thematic activities, so that tourism can promote cultural confidence and the spirit of "China Tourism Day" can have a greater impact.
