On March 17, 2022, the Faculty of International Tourism and Management held a master's project report briefing and supervisor meeting at
the Ho Yin Convention Centre. This briefing is for the freshmen admitted in the 2021/2022 academic year to have face-to-face
communication with their supervisors, and to learn about the detailed question opening and defense procedures, project report writing
guidance and graduation requirements. Dr. Li Xi, Executive Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Tourism and Management, Dr. Shen
Huawen, Director of Graduate Programs, and several full-time and part-time supervisors attended the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Shen Huawen. First of all, Dr. Li Xi, the executive vice president of the faculty, expressed his expectations for
students in research and writing, and hoped that students could make full use of the school's resources and achieve results in the academic
field. The faculty invited a number of supervisors inside and outside the school to meet with students online and on-site. The supervisors
shared their rich industry experience, academic background and research direction. Interested students are welcome to communicate and
discuss privately.
Then, Dr. Shen Huawen, director of the graduate program of the faculty, further explained the question opening and defense process and
precautions to the students present, and introduced how to write a project report. In the final interactive session, students also actively asked questions, and the project report briefing session ended successfully.
The Master of International Hotel Management is a course offered by our faculty for cultivating applied talents in hotels. The students'
graduation project report aims to give constructive opinions and countermeasures to the current problems and challenges in the hotel and
tourism industry, and to provide detailed information and solutions for the industry.
