Workshop on "Multilayer Linear Regression Analysis" was successfully held


On March 31, 2023, the Faculty of International Tourism and Management (FITM) invited Prof. Jun Li from South China Normal University to

speaker to give a lecture on the application of multilayer linear regression analysis (HLM) method in tourism research to the master and

doctoral students at the university. Taking his doctoral study experience as the starting point, Prof. Li explained to the students the experience of applying HLM in tourism research and the specific software applications. During the lecture, Prof. Li shared his research results and research ideas in an easy-to-understand way. His humorous lecture style infected all the students and teachers present, and many students expressed

that they benefited greatly from the lecture, expanded their research ideas and learned new analysis methods.

In addition to delivering the lecture, Prof. Jun Li offered guidance on how to navigate the significant challenges of "in-volume" and persistent

selling anxiety in the current academic landscape. He advised students who are trying to conduct research to be "high-minded," which means to have a broad vision while also realizing research ideas as quickly as possible. At the same time, while pursuing theoretical innovation and

contribution, the study topic should emphasize the practical usefulness of social development and management innovation.

thanking him for the wonderful lecture he brought to our faculty and students. According to the different needs of undergraduate and

postgraduate students, it has been the original intention of the Master Frontier Series to conduct various types of lectures in a targeted
